Continuing Education/Continuing Medical Education (CE/CME)

The 2025 National Alliance for Care at Home Annual Meeting & Exposition will offer CE/CME credit for interprofessional, nurses, physicians, and accountants  who attend the live event in New Orleans, LA.

The material presented in the education sessions represents the opinions of the faculty and not necessarily the views of the National Alliance for Care at Home, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB). 
 

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT

In support of improving patient care, the National Alliance for Care at Home (the Alliance) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.  

Credit hours are determined based on individual attendance/participation and evaluation of each session and may be less than the maximum number offered. In addition, the amount of CE/CME credit available is subject to change.  

Joint Accreditation IPCE Credit Statement 

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive a maximum of TBD live learning activity Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credit for learning and change. 

CNE Credit Designation Statement 

The Alliance designates this live learning activity for a maximum of TBD nursing contact hour(s). Nurses should claim only the contact hours commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

CME Credit Designation Statement 

The Alliance designates this live learning activity for a maximum of TBD AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Certificate of Participation for Non-physician Healthcare Professionals 

For participants whose disciplines are other those above may request a Certificate of Participation for Non-physician Healthcare Professionals to submit to your accrediting bodies/licensing boards for continuing education credit. This certificate will indicate this activity was certified of TBD AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. It is the responsibility of participants to submit the certificates to their accrediting bodies/licensing boards for approval. Unfortunately, the Alliance cannot guarantee its acceptance. To receive this certificate, you must complete all CE/CME requirements and indicate your desire to receive this certificate on the evaluation form.  

Continuing Professional Education for Accountants

The National Alliance for Care at Home sociation for Home Care & Hospice is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education (CPE) on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, through its website: www.NASBARegistry.org.  

Credit amounts are pending approval and may change. Each education session provides 1.2 CPE for accountants based on 50 minutes. Accountants can earn up to 9.6 CPEs for this live activity. 

National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB)

This program has been approved for Continuing Education for TBD participant hours by NAB/NCERS-Approval#20251019-56-A105558-IN.

Domains of Practice to be eligible for Continuing Education (CEs) for Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administrators 

  • Nursing Home Administrators (NHA)
  • Residential Care/Assisted Living Administrators (RCAL)
  • Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)

You will be able to download your NAB CEs after the conference. The Provider/Sponsor agree to provide individual certificates of program attendance to each individual participant, listing: sponsor name, attendee name, program title, sponsor signature, number of hours attended, and NAB National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) approval number 20251019-56-A105558-IN.

We are required to report all attendee CE records to the CE Registry within 30 days from the end date of November 4, 2025.  Your certificate is not valid until you have a NABVerify CE Registry.  If you do not create a CE Registry and forward your NAB ID number to us, we are not obligated to report your attendance to the CE Registry after 45 days of your completing the course.

  • If you have a CE Registry, please forward your NAB ID, which starts with R, followed by 7 digits to NAHC within the next 7 days to promptly validate your certificate.
